Retry GET (and opt-in idempotent writes: setState/clearState/saveProgress) once on a fresh connection after a network error or 502/503/504, masking a transient proxy<->upstream keepalive reset. If it still fails, treat 502/503/504 as the soft self-clearing 'Connection lost' toast instead of the blocking error modal — a gateway that can't reach the app means 'restarting', not a request the app refused. Genuine 500s keep the modal. |
